I'm keeping 3 roosters out of nine. 1 BO "Big Guy" 16 weeks not crowing
yet, huge bird, sleeps in my lap. 2 Banties, they are pretty low on the pecking
order, so I hope it works. I ended up with 6 hens-was hoping for 10 but I'm
not very good at picking out chicks. 2 BR roos (still up in the air) purchased
from pullet bin. I'm leaning towards purchasing pullets- paying more- at about
16 weeks of age, so I don't have to go thru this again. I know this is best for my
flock, but it has been a very difficult decision for me.
