I had 6 roosters, all got along great until the youngest matured and started some problems. I was going to re-home just him, but I ended up keeping my 2 oldest and re-homing all the young boys (Under 1 year old)
I really didn't think I would see that much of a difference, but there seems to be a "flow" now and a sense of calmness. The girls seem to have their head roo and no confusion on who to follow around.
Edited to add: The girls just seemed confused with that many boys trying to impress them, feed them and take care of them, now they all stay together as a flock instead of branching off with different roos.
It is right back to the way it was before the 4 young boys came along last spring. It wasn't easy for me to do, my chickens are my babies, but I see the difference and feel good about the decision I made!
