View attachment 1844509 Good Morning. I have 9 hens, including 3 black Castilian hens. One of the black Castilians started laying eggs 3 weeks ago, with five months. Another of the Castilians put their first egg about 3 days ago (there were two white eggs and the two that were still to begin to lay are close to 6 months of age). Yesterday morning I saw a lot of blood on the floor, and throughout the day I saw two others with a little less blood. It was not intestinal tissue, I'm sure of that. Just in case, I've started supplying all the hens with anticoccidials. Earlier today I went to check the poop and at that moment she (the one who put her first egg 3 days ago) threw another poop with enough blood (really until that moment I was not sure which of them had the problem). It is now when I relate the problem of the blood in the feces with her first egg . I know that it is normal that when they start to lay sometimes stain the egg with some blood, but this is quite a quantity. I do not know what to do except give them anticoccidios just in case, but should it be an internal tear, what should I do? Has it ever happened to you? It has a solution? I would like to avoid antibiotics if possible. At the moment she behaves normally, but I fear that an internal infection will occur. Any advice? Thank you!
