This is our Black Japanese Bantam, she’s really small. She’s been laying eggs every day, she has 9 in her nest & I have 9 in my incubator. She’s so small that I’m worried that if her eggs hatch will the chicks be to small to survive? The development in the eggs look great so far.! Any advice would be great!!
Thanks everybody.

She’s so friendly!! She flies over to see me, we hold her, bring her in the house, we’ve even brought her in the truck with us on a ride. So friendly!! I want her eggs to hatch, this is her Rooster. He’s cool, he protects her, he goes everywhere she goes. Lol.

I had several very tiny chicks hatch from my Bantam pullet eggs last week, all from Japanese cocks, including some from OEGB girls even smaller than my pure Japanese pullets. I decided to brood them inside until they get a little bigger, but all have been healthy and vigorous.
