My 5 chicks will be 4 weeks old next weekend, and are growing fast. So fast I'm afraid they'll out grow the tub they're in by then. Would it be too soon to put them out in the coop next weekend? Daytime temps are 85 - 90 here this week, night time temps around 65 - 70.

With those warm temps and the age they are i am sure they will be fine

Gosh, mine have been out since they were two weeks old.

They are now four weeks and fantastic.

Prepare for the celebration your chicks will have when they get to their new location. I moved my 8 chicks from the brooder box in the garage when they were 3 weeks old to their coop, they are now 6 weeks old. They made the move fine, and are loving their run.

they will be great...I put mine out a few weeks ago, they are 6 now, in fact mine only had a heat lamp for 2 days, then shut it off...they are fully feathered now...and are fine in my 50* night temps

I have my 3 and 4 week old chicks outside during the day now. We had severe thunderstorms in the forecast, and since their coop isn't done yet I brought them indoors for the weekend. But they LOVE being outside and scratching in the grass, pecking at bugs and bathing in the dirt. Your chickies should be fine, as long as your run can secure them inside and keep predators out;-)
