Took the plunge. We are new to this and just got some Blackstars

I have been reading up on this site and learning as much as I could. I finally took the plunge two days ago and my kids and I got some chicken. We got 5 Blackstars because that is how many the city of Tempe allowed we were told. My little girl was so excited. She like to watch over them all the time. I will do my best to take care of them with the information learned from this site. Thanks everyone.

Congrats ! They are addicting , I started with 3, 5 years ago and now have 35....although the numbers go up when I buy meat chickens (at least 60) .
