In the Brooder
I’m attempting to convert a metal shed on my property to a coop. We have put plywood on the inside walls, dug hard cloth wire into the bottom (it’s a dirt floor), and are building nesting boxes/roosts.
HOWEVER— at the top is a gap between the roof and wall. No more than a 2-3 inch gap. Great for ventilation! But how do I predator proof it?? It’s 8ft high but the roof and sides are metal. The beams are wood. (See picture). So how can I attach hardwire cloth?

OR what can I do to predator proof it while maintaining ventilation.
