Is there a topical dewormer that is safe to be used on birds?
Also, I found a round worm when I cracked open an egg, what's the best treatment?

Wazine is an oral wormer to use in the water, but it treats roundworms. Ivermectin pour-on is a topical medicine that has been used as a wormer and mite/lice treatment. I don’t know how effective it is nowadays as a wormer, since I have read that it has lost it’s effectiveness with overuse. @dawg53 and @casportpony would be better ones to answer that.

You would be better off orally dosing birds with Safeguard liquid goat wormer or Valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer. Not only will they eliminate large roundworms as you saw in the egg, but other types of worms as well.

My choice to treat worms is Safeguard for goats or Valbazen. Topical ivermectin will probably treat large roundworms but is not very effective in treating other worms.

I will use some albamor (albendazole suspension)
