Hello. I have an adult hen who was attacked by a dog yesterday. She is in a rabbit cage in my house underneath some towels to keep her in the dark. She is eating and drinking, but it leaks out from her torn crop. Poop is runny. She is alert and did try to escape the cage once when I was putting in more fresh water for her.
I have put Blu Kote and Vetericyn on her.

Is there any way I might be able to stitch up the crop? Or is she a lost cause? :( I really am hoping I can save her somehow…

Yes you can operate. It's the same as you would as a impacted crop actually. I only know cause I have experience with that. If you give picks I can explain how and what to stitch or glue depending on how bad
