Hi all! Hope I am doing this correctly.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We joined the many happy chicken owners in March with 20 chicks. Had them indoors first 6 wks since it was too chilly for them outside and they lived!!!! despite our dog stalking them.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 12. Had to find some happy homes for the roosters. Our neighbors were not to happy with us having chickens to begin with so no roosters were part of the deal.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Barred Rock,Buff Orpington,Production Red, Rhode Island Red, Americauna,Delaware,Speckled Sussex
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Had goggled many searches first few weeks on pasty bottoms, dwarf chickens, what to expect and so on... and found this site with lot's of helpful advice.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Does homeschool count as a hobby? Trying to garden... Decorating.....Fishing....teaching, nutrition
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
