Welcome to Backyard chickens. How many hens do you have? One rooster can handle 10 hens, any less and they can get damaged and overbred. I mention this in case you inherited a lot more roosters than the hens can tolerate.

Hi diva I have got 7 hens that are always with a rooster and I got 3 silkie cockerels that are in seperate runs also got 2 silkie chicks at about 1 and a 1/2 months old and had 2 new hatchlings 2 days ago, not really sure on what to do but the BYC community has been invaluable thanks
