Hello everyone, I'm trying to stay informed and learn all that I can. I bought 6 Chickens for my kids because they wanted to raise them and have a supply of fresh eggs. I just want to be able to answer them correctly when they have questions.Your input will be greatly appreciated.
I wanted to ask if anyone has a DIY Chicken Coop Suggestion that's predator proof and it gets cold here in the PNW. A step by step GUIDE or instructions along with a detailed list of materials and measurements and tools needed and step by step instructions will be appreciated...

Hi there, welcome! If you look at the top of the page you'll see a tab that says 'Articles', there's a coop section there, over 500 coops of all sizes, built by people who keep real chickens so the dimensions and predator proofing is appropriate. ;]
Edit for clarification, I just realized there's no tab if you're on mobile, tap the 'page' picture.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
You only have 6 chickens but I always recommend converting a shed into a coop. It is so much easier for those who do not have the greatest building skills and makes a much better coop. Have fun with your new flock.
