Totally at a loss with my hen!? Help!

I have a 3 year old Plymouth Rock hen that last week had started limping, she got around fine, ate and drank water. Just thought she maybe jumped off something. Anyways, for the past 2 days I had to guarantee her by herself after finding her not moving just sitting. She just sits all day. She doesn't seem to eat much or drink and she litterally can't stand anymore! I am not sure what is going on.... She had yellow poop and so I have her on duraymycin for a infection which the poop now is much less yellow and seems to be better. She seems a bit listless or just kind of confused. When I try to stand her up she litterally can't stand and doesnt try too her feet are curled up and she doesn't seem to want to straighten them out!


Any suggestions on what to do? Hubby thinks its best to maybe just let her go since shes 3 years old. I just am confused on what is causing this!

Is your hen really skinny? If so, I would suggest that you check out threads on Marek's.

I also think that I would check out threads on botulism...I seem to remember something about it causing symtoms such as these.
