Hi all, we’ve recently moved the whole family from UK to Kosova and started keeping chickens and ducks, for eggs but mainly entertainment! My husband (originally from kosova) has had livestock before but it’s a whole new world for me. We’ve had the brown chickens and the barred rock rooster for about 6 months as well as most of the ducks. Today we brought home the three beauties in the first picture. I have no clue as to what breed any of the hens are, can anyone help? Some of the browns were rescued ex-battery hens who had very few feathers when they first arrived but look much better now. I like the chickens and mallard ducks but the Muscovies are my favourites. We’ve had the drake for about 6 months but he sadly lost his mate so we got him two new girls today. Looking forward to learning lots. View attachment 2015958View attachment 2015960View attachment 2015961
The reddish browns are rhode islands, mixed with Rhode island white and rhode island reds to make the sex link. The White with black and feathered feet is a Brahma.Hi all, we’ve recently moved the whole family from UK to Kosova and started keeping chickens and ducks, for eggs but mainly entertainment!
