Totally new to Turkeys - a few questions.

Hi all,

I've had chickens for around 2 years, and peacocks for a little over a year. Well, yesterday a friend showed up with two young turkeys as a gift. He incubated them, but wasnt sure how old they are(???). I didn't even try to ask about breed.

So, i was hoping you very knowledgable people could give me a guess on breed and sex. I'm guessing its too early to determine sex, but what should i look for down the road?

So far, their names are Bonnie & Clyde, but that's subject to change!!

Insofar as variety(s) represented? Hopeful our experts will be along to opine.

Thanks Ivan,

When I first saw them, they seemed identical to me and therefore I assumed they were of the same sex, but I am hoping for one of each. In the four days since they arrived, I've seen a few slight differences between them, but it's tough to know if they mean anything.

I appreciate your input!
