So im getting some chickens and i was thinking of what toys are best for them.Ive herd about stringing cds,suet cage full of veggeies,parrot toys, and stringing cabbage is there anthing else. btw im new to the site

I've heard that some chickens love to look at themselves in a mirror. I believe the stringing CD's is a deterrent for hawks and other predators, not necessarily chicken toys. I believe one of the best things you can do to keep a chicken happy to give it lots of room to scratch and dig. Give them a nice place to have a dust bath as well.

A chickens favorite toy is one that is food related. You pretty much covered all of them. Something else I do is throw a big pile of leaves in their run, then toss a few handfuls of scratch onto it. They go BANANAS!
