Tractor or bigger chicken yard?

So I’m trying to come up with ways to keep my girls happy when they need to be locked up for longer periods of time. What do you think is better, a larger chicken yard or a chicken tractor? What would make them more happy?

They have a coop and run 6x12. And I’ve been letting them out to free range. But when my gardens are just starting to grow, I can’t let them free range as often.

I would opt for the larger chicken yard.

I have a movable electric netting that gives them room to range but keeps them out of the garden. I let them on the lawn for short times so that they do not kill the grass like the have in their yard! Then the get a fresh area once in a while, they have their yard the rest of the time.
