I looked into cabot's for next year, it is a bird that I am very interested in keeping and breeding. First off they are very rare in the hobby, at least in the USA, I found several breeders in Europe and the prices were all about the same somewhere in the 800-1000 Euro range ($1043 to $1305 USD at todays exchange rate). There is a breeder in PA, he was listing pairs for 2011 hatch but I have not seen his listings for 2012 yet.
I was told this is a very hard bird to keep and even harder to breed, many breeders use artificial insemination rather then letting the birds do it naturally. There are two subspecies, one is much more colorful then the other and one is endangered, the other threatened. They come from Southern China. I don't know much more then that, but if I get any I'll post photos.
