I have peas hatching as we speak! When I left there were two hatched with 4 more to go.

I've read that it is good to put some chicks in with them to teach them how to eat and drink. I don't have any large fowl to put in with them. My choices are 1 week old Serama chicks, 3 week old Serama chicks and 1 day old Cochin chicks.

Would any or all of these work?

That will be fine. From the peas I have hatched, they seem to be non-aggressive.

My first chicks of year I try and hatch some silkie's and cochin's and put them in brooder together then each week as more peachicks hatch I take one of the week old peachick's and put with just hatched chicks

I see, so you just use chicken chicks for the first time, then peachicks for the rest of the season.

That's the same thing I have been doing.
