How do I train my dog not to chase my peafoul. The dog is a boarder collie cross and she has already maulded two of my call ducks. I don't thing she means to kill them but she chases and tries to play with them and they end up dead. She does the same thing with kittens, she steals them from the barn and takes them on the front lawn and plays with them but fortunately the kittens are tuffer than the birds.I would really like to let my peafoul free range but I dont want to take a chance till I figure out how to get the dog to leave them alone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Shock collar?

Never had a problem with our dog and the chickens, ducks, rabbits, etc. as she was raised around them, but I did have to use one on her to teach her to stay off the road. Seemed to work pretty good, the only problem was you had to watch with remote in hand until she misbehaved.

I have a labrador and hes bred for hunting, and hunts with us all the time and i decided to get peafowl, i cage all of them up except one i decided to let go. But i was scared he would eat it so i put a shock collar on him and a leash and then let him in the cage with the peacock and every time he tried to bit it i would give him a shock and i did that for three days before i let the peacock out. Now he doesn't bother the peacock one bit, they even drink out of the same bowl

but if theres a squirrel, bunny or bird in the yard my dog is all over them. He even protects the peacock from the foxes haha every time theres a fox stalking the peacock my dog goes and stands by the peacock and growls at the fox or coyote
