Transgender hen?

I have a little hen who is definitely a hen (watched her lay an egg one day) who, soon after I came back from a trip to AK, started becoming aggressively assertive to me and attempts to mate my foot and hand just like my roosters mount the girls! It's very, very strange and I can't find any explanation. She used to be super sweet and would fall asleep in my hands, however that now appears to be the opposite of her intentions.

What's going on??

i have no idea, but i kind of hope she is really transgendered. how awesome would that be?

It isn't at all unusual for the top hen to take on the role of the rooster if you don't have one. Some have also been known to crow and mount the other hens.
