So can anyone out there tell me a good transport cage height to use for Turkeys? I am thinking of making them 35.5 x 23.5 x 14 tall. Is that tall enough for Turkeys?

I don't want to make to much taller because I would like to keep the weight down and use mainly for chickens and rabbits.

thanks

I don't think that 14" tall is tall enough for a full grown turkey. I would say 24"-36" tall would be more suitable.

Depend on where you're transporting them to. If they are just going to slaughter you could cut their heads off and they would be shorter. Just kidding.

I think 24 ' high would be more suitable. Perhaps you could make them 24" high and put a removable shelf in the center for when you transport rabbits.

Thanks for the input. I have found that most transport cages being sold are between 15 - 17 inches tall. Since the would be getting transported to slaughter and not for show I may go for the shorter so when stacked they are not to high in truck and trailers.
