Transporting Chickens?

I was wondering what to use to transport a SS Rooster and Hen on about a 4-5 hour drive?

My sister-in law volunteered to maybe pick me up a Speckled Sussex rooster and hen pair on their way back from vacation in TN. We live in WV so it would probably be a 4-5 hour drive. My sister in law said she may have a cat carrier, but would that be big enough?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Should be all right as long as the a/c on they don't need to be able to move much
