I have a broody hen right now she has barely left the nest for two solid days and off and on before that. She is showing all the signs.

I have a friend that has fertilized eggs in her flock and we discussed giving my hen 6 of the eggs so she can hatch them.

Is there. Special way to transport them from her house to mine? I know I read to introduce the eggs at night. I also am making a homemade incubator invade she doesn't finish brooding

Any other things I should know?

In an egg carton is good for the trip. As long as there is no hard dropping or rough handling, they should be fine.
Now when I ship them, I wrap them in bubble wrap and box tthem in more bubble wrap, and double wrap again in another box with bubble wrap in between. But that's not needed to transport locally.
