Quick question...


I am contemplating using a cattle trailer to take the birds in. (Cornish X, 8 weeks old). At this age and size is there any danger of them flying out of the trailer? They would have to fly straight up about 4 feet to the opening.

If they are like mine were they couldn't get their fat butts more than 6 inches off the floor - but don't be surprised some may be very strong and try.

Use cardboard boxes. Once the lid is closed shut, they think it's nighttime and go to sleep.
