Hi all,
My dog killed 2 of my hens a few weeks ago, leaving 3 unharmed. My Red Rhodie and Buff are laying with no problems but my cuckoo Maran has not laid since. Her comb is a little paler, and is a bit skittish but nothing really unusual for her but I do think she misses her other cuckoo friend. It's been several weeks with no changes, introduced 2 new young hens slowly to the flock and now everyone seems to be fairly settled with very little noted aggression. Is it too late to isolate her with lots of good calcium rich foods, dark spot in the shed?
