My DH and I went down to Fredricksburg, VA a few days ago to check out the old town. We like old historic sites and such and we had never been there before. On the way down from NJ we go thru Delaware, Maryland an unto Virginia. Going thru those states I was looking around at peoples backyards thinking 'oh, those tool sheds would make good chicken coops, or gee that backyard would make a great run and you could put a chicken coop over there, etc" On the way back, (Oh yeah we did have fun seeing everything in Fredricksburg!) I kept thinking of all the people on BYC who live in the area, alot of them I couldn't remember off hand but some I did, when I was going thru Maryland, guess who I thought of?
mdbucks!
Anyway, I was in an antique shop and spotted an old (not real old) quilt with really nice colors and cute border and had about nine appliqued (sp) chickens on it, really well done for $75. I didn't buy it. The next day I kept thinking about it, but it was too late. Now I'm home thinking I shoulda bought it.
Oh well, so much for that! But I did by a turkey cookie cutter for my collection!
