Treadle feeder questions

Hi! Does anyone have any experience with the RentACoop metallic Treadle Feeder? I am looking for Treadle feeders, and wondering how it stacks up vs a Grandpa's. Or any others. I am feeding a flock of 17, and would like something that can feed more than one bird at a time. I will probably get two, to offer two feeding stations. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

With 17 chickens I would suggest a different type. You can get more than one.

Better and cheaper versions out there than that. Google treadle feeder and read the reviews on the sales platforms. That rent a coop feeder is a knock off of the Grandpa feeder and they didn't fix the problems with that design. Very pretty feeder, good fit and finish, nice to look at, and an 18% negative review ratio on Amazon. Just do a search for treadle feeders on BYC and read the reviews, there is a website called chickenfeederreviews.com out there that does a good job reviewing all sorts of treadle feeders and although they dinged my feeder for using styrofoam packaging they did a good job reviewing it warts and all.
