The same big fatty mcfatty chick I was worried about(he eats all the time, and has a full crop all the time), now appears to have spraddle-legs in a very mild form. I have always noticed that he does not move as much as the rest of them, but in the brooder he seems to walk normal...I just haven't seen him run back and forth like the others or test his wings out in there..he eats, drinks and all that, but he is not as active.
When I put him out on a hard surface, his legs will go out to the sides a little, or he will lay down on his hocks. I am really attached to this chick and want to do whatever I can to help him..he is the sweetest one.
I have been researching spraddle leg treatments, but not sure if I should do anything since in the brooder he seems to stand normal???
