Hi, I’m a fairly new chicken owner, I’m treating my flock for a mild case of coccidiosis, confirmed with fecal test with amprolium. I will be away on the weekend and there will be one day where I can’t mix their fresh dose in water. Will the treatment still work?

Yes. The reason for mixing it fresh is in case they contaminate the water with poop that contains more of the coccidia organisms. It helps to raise waterers to shoulder height of the smallest bird, to keep droppings out as well. The dosage I would use is 2 tsp of the liquid Corid, or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5-7 days.
