Treating for Mites/Lice during molt?

'd like to go ahead and treat my hens for lice/mites etc. using my poultry protector spray I bought at the farm store. Its been awhile since I've treated them. They are molting right now. Does anybody see any problems with treating them while their molting? Thanks.

If mine had external parasites during molt, I'd treat them in a heartbeat.

^ x2. The external parasites could actually prevent or damage new feather growth. Treat them.
