Hi everyone!

I’m dealing with some lice and I have Cylence on hand for my goats. I was wondering if anyone here has used this pour on for chickens? I’m seeing online that it has recently been approved for poultry which is interesting but I cannot find a dosage anywhere.

If not I will go ahead and treat the lice with permethrin instead.

Thank you in advance!

Neither can I.

I'd be safe and just stick to the permethrin based products until more information in forthcoming. If you caught it early, lice are pretty easy to treat.

Welcome!
Cyclence is not an approved insecticide for poultry, so there's no approved dose listed.
Permethrin spray or dust are fine, with ne egg withdrawal, so use that. The spray concentrate is easier to use and much less expensive.

It's hard to believe there's no egg withdrawal for sometning that is an insecticide....
