Treating the runt

The runt of my flock is admittedly my baby and she tends to get pushed to the side and slightly bullied by the other girls. Nothing physical but they'll take hanging food from her beak and like I said, push her away when it's feeding time and they're hungry. She doesn't fight back or resist, but she does make some sad sounds.

I've set up multiple food stations so she has a chance and I feed her separately every now and then so I make sure she's had something good in her belly, but how can I make sure my little one is getting everything she needs? I want to make sure she's just as happy and healthy as the other ones despite how small and weak she is. Anyone have a similar issue? How did you take care of your runt?

As long as she has several places where she can eat, she should be fine. If you REALLY want her to be happy, you could move her to a separate place and get her some companions her size.

Is she actually a 'runt' or just the low bird?
The multiple feeders/waterers should take care of the problem.
There will always be a low bird, they are fine with it,
it's us humans who think it's 'sad'.
Leave it be.
