Treatment for Blackhead disease

Hello all! So this is my first time raising turkeys! My turkeys are 5months old and have been doing great, until recently. I noticed one of my girls in the corner ruffled feathers not eating with yellow poop, I ended up loosing her yesterday, I went and looked inside her and by all the research I have done I confirmed it to be blackhead for sure. I have another one that started looking the same today I separated her cleaned the area really good. I do have chickens and I pen them separately but when I let them free range in the afternoons they r together I believe that is the fatal mistake I have made. However my question is if I treat the rest of my turkeys with the metronidazole, if we are able to eat there offspring, we raise our own meat birds and we wanted to get some turkeys to be able to hatch there eggs and grow them up for meat turkeys. So does anyone know the effects on that medicine ? Thank you!

If you treat them and wait at least a month, all drug residues should be gone, and they're okay to eat.
