Treats as far as the eye can see

Was getting feed today and was offered a discount on a broken bag. I accepted the offer and mixed it with 5 grain for treat purposes. Nearly filled a 50# container with about 15# of scratch left (I'll use that for wild birds). Hoping I'll be able to give full scoops for treats w/o over treating.

Also, I got a brick of alfalfa for boredom busting.

Treats should be used sparingly...not by the scoopful (especially that red scoop )

The red scoop is pure feed. The aluminum scoop is treat mixed with feed.

The birds only need to eat what is designed to be a balanced diet. That doesn't include treats. Treats are for you and not for whats best for the birds.
