Treats for chicks?

I brought my baby chicks home yesterday and we are pretty sure that they are about two weeks old... they all have wing feathers but none on their bodies yet. I have a list of treats they can and cannot have and we were contemplating giving them alittle banana as a treat today.

My question is how young is too young for treats?

Is it too early? Will it do more harm than good? They are all healthy and happy chicks and I would hate to give them something that could hurt them.

And yet...this spring I have broody hens raising their chicks, and you would not believe what kind of stuff they feed them.

Good luck!
My two-week old chicks wouldn't eat the banana for the world!
Scrambled eggs, and feed covered plain yogurt on the other hand, they peck me to DEATH for it!
xD

It's so funny how different their tastes can be! My chicks think that any kind of fruit is nasty and will wipe their beaks on the ground. They will also never touch any yogurt, although I've heard it's a very popular treat with most everyone else. The only thing that my 5 week olds absolutely love is hard boiled egg, crumbs from bread, or shredded cheese. Picky little girls
