Treats for quail

Mine love rice, whole leaf iceberg and romaine lettuces, shredded green cabbage (they don't like red cabbage), cooked or raw broccoli, papaya, banana, watermelon (seeds and all). I've received lukewarm responses to my offering of cucumbers and shredded carrots; beets didn't go over that well either.
I also offer a fresh MOUNTAIN of grass clippings (mine consists of Saint Augustine grass and generic weeds, mostly weeds) when I have them, what they don't eat becomes extra bedding and they absolutely love hunting for bugs and seeds in it and I've seen them eat their share of the grass and weed leaves. I literally dump a mountain of it in their cages and let them sort through it; by nightfall they've got it worked over well and tamped down into all the nooks and crannies.

Can they eat a regular sized peanut kernel? It seems like even the inside would be so big for them.
Snow used to peck at it while i held it and with her beak she scraps off and as she got older broke off pieces then i bullet blended some and she loved the tiny chunks i saw on a post some ones quail named scrappy eats them whole but his was a coturnix mine was a kings quail also known button

I ground amaranth and hulled sunflower seeds and add the mixture to the quails’ food 2-3x a week. I also feed them herbs, brassicas, and meal worms 1-3x a week. We have a dehydrator so we are able to dry and grind a lot of food. Occasionally we grind fruit for the quail as well.
