Treats for Quail?

When my birds are finally not babies anymore I’d love to give them some treats every now and then. I love to spoil my animals! I have read that the small meal worms are good to give them sparingly. Can coturnix have things like fruit, bread crumbs, cracked corn etc? I plan to keep them on the best diet possible for egg laying but like I said, I’d love to spoil them every now and then!

You should be able to give your quail the thing you would give to chickens, meal worms, and fruit greens.

They can have the things you mentioned, just make sure to keep the treats to less than 10% of their diet.

Do not feed tomatoes, especially not the leaves or stems, though. Those are poisonous to them.
