treats!

I've got 26 birds 2 weeks old.
mostly they would scream & pile up at the back of the brooder when I would reach in.

I went to the pet store & bought several boxes of grub worms to use as treats. It only took a couple worms for a few of the birds to catch on. They quickly taught the others.

Now 1 day later they all come running when I open the brooder. I never thought it would work so well so fast!

Once they get one they take off running & singing with all the others chasing. They are so funny!

Wow thats a good idea my older birds do this also. So is it grub worms or will mealworms work too?

both will work - I got a bunch of small ones since the chicks are only 2 weeks old. Anything they think is a treat will work.
