Hey guys I have this old treehouse i will be turning into a chicken coop.... there will be a very large pen...around 200 feet perimeter.. do I need to put a covering over top? if so what should i use? it is in the woods so im worried bird netting would be ripped from a fallen limb or something... Any other tips?

this is the coop

This picture is from the corner of the pen... you can kinda see the rope that is the perimeter...

Will have a fence 8 Ft tall.

Looks good but as old as I am, I would be afraid to climb on it on a snowy or ice day unless you put in stairs.

Anything is doable and eight foot fence is good and you might want to double on the aviary netting because I know it would be expensive to put up wire tops. It all depends on the size of run you will create.

Lol im only 16 so i dont mind all that much, but i am planning on putting stairs in but right now just to make it livable it will be 400...... so thats low on the priority list... and that netting is very expensive it seems :(:(
