Tree roosting pullet

Every night I have to go out and whack one pullet out of the tree she wants to roost in, sometimes she talks other pullets up with her. Usually after being chased out the others won't try it again for a week but she is up there every night. She's a flighty Catalana and I'm about ready to give her to someone who doesn't free range.

If you want to keep her, how about wrapping the tree with fruit tree netting or deer netting? A side benefit of this is a owl or hawk can't roost there either.
