Trick or Treat Candy~What do you give out?

The other thing is I grew up in New York City where there were like a million kids and I'd imagine that everyone had hundreds of kids showing up.

Some folks gave out apples....

What did they do....buy 100 lbs of apples to have enough to give out? That always perplexed me. Apples are heavy....

I work at a radio station and we have a show every year where we let the little ones talk on the radio. We have costume contests and give out cookies, kool-aid and lots of candy! We also bring in Mickey and Minnie, a scare crow, Buford the Bulldog (school mascot) and what ever else costumes we decide we want to wear. It is really alot of fun, especially my kids are too old for all the festivities. They now help us out. Although some of the kids get scared when they see my 6 ft 3 in hubby in the Mickey suit! haha
