Trimming plastic netting

I am installing TopRite netting on my newly enclosed run for my turkeys and chickens. When I trim the netting, will I need to melt the ends to keep them from fraying?

Hi! Do you have a pic of the netting or a link to show what you are dealing with? I used poultry netting over our run and just kinda rolled it up where it was too long. Good luck!
