Hi all havent had time too be on here lately with all the mess going on here. Well to start we were in the process of adding on and building new coops and runs, but that came to a stop with a fire that wiped out all but our peacocks, and 2 of the rabbits. Ihad moved all but the ones we still have in the smaller shed to tear down the other one. I had made a dump mistake by leaving a small sting of lights on when we left for just a day my wife was devistated and heart broke. Ihave worked my butt in the ground tring to get stuff cleaned up and the 2 main coops finished. Still just cannot beleive I made such a dumd move Ifeel so bad knowing they were traped and died like they did. I will not ever make a mistake like this again.I still have a bunch of things to do to get it done. We havent been able to take on any more birds untill I get things done so far we have had to turn away birds that need homes but we dont have much of a home for them. I will try to post some pics of the progress thanks your backyard neighbor Mike

Oh how awful - I hope things improve for you.

I worry I will make some kind of dumb mistake to,
I guess we all make them its just that some of us get lucky and have no disasters. I acidently left the doors to my coop open all night a few weeks ago. Thank goodness no foxes or coons came by that night.

Sorry to hear that

Sorry about the fire Mike. Don't beat yourself up too much, things happen. Hope you get the other coops finished and then you can get more birds. Not sure how far from the Knoxville, Tn area you are but, if you need a few to get started let me know.
