and a $30,000 claimer with odds of 80/1 wins the race. Starting from the #21 slot the horse booked big time, and the rider did an incredible job of working his way through the field. Can he do it again ?
A claimer, I did not know that. Can he do it again? I sure hope so!

I just saw this on my news...the horse was bad after he won. Trying to bite the other horse.

There are claiming races where horses are basically up for sale for a set $ value. If someone wants to buy the horse they can do so for that amount. I believe it has to be done prior to the running of the race.
