PlymouthBR/Legbar mix, 1 year old.
Been sluggish since yesterday. Legs move, but she can’t seem to put weight on them. Otherwise uninjured, no sign of trauma, eats if food and water are put close to her. Wings seem to function normally. Crop is not hard, does not seem to be egg bound.

Ideas? Suggestions?

You may possibly be dealing with Marek's disease.

Any chance she ate something rotten or dead?

I'd work on hydration, get some extra calcium into her and start 1/4 B-Complex.

If you lose her, getting necropsy to find out the sudden decline would be a good idea. You can find your state lab here:

Might have been something moldy in the compost bin. That’s all I can think of. I’ll work on the nutrition boost. Thanks!

Update - legs still aren’t working, and isn’t laying, but she is otherwise bright eyed and eating well. I kinda think she’s enjoying the respite from the flock.
