So we've had are smallest bantem inside for the past 2 weeks as she has been recovering from a severe defiency. She's made a great recovery and we thought we'd try to move her back in with her sisters. And we feel that she's getting bored and lonely

She is growing fast now, but smaller and significantly behind developmently to the other chicks.

The other chicks got a long with her wonderfully ..Unfortunately, mom hen has not been welcoming. Chasing and viciously attacking her. The chick is now absolutely terrified of her and won't leave the run or go in the coop at night and she might have imprinted on us, because she'll run and try to nestle up to our hands/up our sleeves/etc. We have moved her back inside until we figure out what to do.

Any suggestions? Is there another way we can reintegrate her? Given the viseral reaction we are concerned about adding her at night, and not being able to monitor in the morning. Do we have a house chicken until she gets bigger?

You will have to wait reintegrating her until momma hen has weaned her siblings.
Until then you could grab the smallest of the bunch and add it to her brooder for company.

And welcome :frowto the BYC community!

We thought about adding one the sisters in, but we felt bad putting one in jail for no reason. They are enjoying their grass and sun bathing too much.

Instead we are putting her on a secure spot outside (weather permitting) within view of the others for a couple hours each day.
