Heya, I'm somewhat new to the whole incubating eggs thing. I was used to using a Hovabator, but decided to go with something a little smaller. I ordered the Janoel12 incubator off of Amazon, I got it yesterday and decided to let it run for a while to see if it was working properly. It works, but... I'm a major newbie at this and I cannot figure out how to calibrate it correctly! I have the CA setting at -1.6 (I've read that the Janoel is off by that much usually), I put the temp at 37.5 C, but it fluctuates from 99.1 to 99.5 F on the thermometer/hygrometer I have inside of it. I'm hoping y'all can tell me if I'm doing something wrong? Or if anyone has some informative YT vids on how to set it up properly (I've been trying to find videos that explain it better but I've had no luck :hmm). Thank you!!

I've never messed with the settings on mine, I just change the temp accordingly. You must have at least 2 calibrated thermometers inside though. And this incubator gets hot and cold spots so move the eggs frequently. Calibrate your thermometers yourself, there's no other way to be sure they're accurate.

Yeah, that makes more sense. I only had the one thermometer and... it broke! Whoops. So I'll definitely look into getting 2 more thermometers of higher quality. I'll post an update once the new thermometers arrive. Ty for the advice! (Also, apologies for replying so late!)

Sounds good! No problem.
