trouble with bears?

I'm in Stillwater and for the most part I think the bears here are pretty lazy because they is such a vast abundance of food between peoples garbage, road kill and everything else. There will always be exceptions. My coop is built like a house and the run is made from 6' dog kennel pannels. They haven't tried to get in yet but I know they are around quite a but because the dogs never fail to let me know. Now one night I forgot to close my garage door and it didn't take long for one to take advantage of that because the garbage was stored in there.
