Trouble with Remote Control

Help! My remote control just platzed on the DVD/VCR. I changed the batteries. OK, I just hit the TV View button and THAT works but the controls for the DVD/VHS don't seem to. STop button, fast forward, arrows, don't work but I can switch back and forth between what's on the DVD and regular TV. ANy advice???

Try unplugging it for about 20 seconds & see if it resets itself. Maybe a small reset button located on the unit somewhere.( not the remote, the vcr.

I played around with some buttons and I can at least fast forward now.

Play button works too!
